Bob Ebert
Hometown: West Bend
Major: Criminal Justice
I decided to go back to school at UW-Washington because it was close to home and it has the degree that I am seeking. I am majoring in Criminal Justice with a Social Work emphasis. At UW-WC, the professors know your name, and their door is always open to work with students so that they understand the material. Since I am a graduate of Hartford Union High School, being back in West Bend is like being back home. I plan on completing my degree through UW-Milwaukee.
Frank Harris
Hometown: Milwaukee
Major: Criminal Justice
The reason that I came to UW-Washington County was to get out of the Milwaukee area. Two former students/ friends of mine also attended UW-WC and said that this was a great school to attend. Since I love playing basketball, I wanted to play at a school that had a competitive program. I plan on majoring in Criminal Justice and transfer to UW-Milwaukee. This school helps me believe I can become anything I want to be.

Hometown: West Bend
Major: Business
I chose UW-Washington County because it was close to home and very affordable. I was unsure of where I wanted to go and the profession I wanted to be in. Also the basketball program was a great way for me to continue my love of playing basketball at a college level. With one semester under way, I decided to major in Business with an Art emphasis. I will be transferring to UW-Milwaukee after I obtain my Associate's Degree. As a graduate of Living Word High School, I felt that UW-WC is a great fit for me.
Joe Neary
Hometown: Slinger
Major: Business Management
A graduate of Slinger High School, Joe likes UW-Washington County because of the small class sizes. They helped me to receive extra attention in classes that were more difficult. UW-WC also allowed me to play basketball at a high level of competition. The campus was close to home and an inexpensive way to earn my Associate Degree and then to complete my Bachelor degree at another UW college. My major is in Business Management which will hopefully lead me to a marketing career making commercials.
Dan Parker
Hometown: Kewaskum
Major: Business Administration
The number one reason I attended UW-Washington County that it was close to home, I saved money and had a better chance of knowing people. As a graduate of Kewaskum High School, playing basketball, soccer and tennis at UW-WC allowed me to meet a lot of new friends. I plan on earning my Associate Degree and then transfer to a state school to major in Business Administration. I would like to use this degree for a career in marketing or sales.

Hometown: Kewaskum
Major: Education
"One of the reasons I chose UW-WC was because of the convenience. It's located less than twenty minutes from my home, therefore I am able to save money on housing and gas. UW-WC has smaller classes, which allows relationships between teachers and students to really develop. Also, I made many great friends by being involved in sports and clubs."

Hometown: Kewaskum
Major: Special Education
"I chose UW-WC because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a career. It was pointless to go to another university, when I could go to UW-WC and save money by taking general classes. I'm really glad I came here because I was able to play volleyball competitively on an outstanding team and I made some really close friends. I plan on transferring to UW-Oshkosh to become a special ed. teacher."

Hometown: Kewaskum
Major: Athletic Training
UW-Washington County is an affordable college, the classes are small, and I am close to home so that I did not have to pay room and board. I was able to meet new people even though I was close to home. I was able to play volleyball at UW-Washington County which I would not have been able to play at another college. I plan on transferring to UW-La Crosse and major in Athletic Training and then obtaining my Masters as a Physician Assistant.

Hometown: Slinger
Major: Athletic Training
As a graduate of Slinger High school, UW-Washington County was close to home, allowed me to continue working and also play competitive basketball. UW-Washington County gave me a second chance at my education and help save me money. This experience has also allowed me to figure out my major. I would like to transfer UW-Milwaukee in Athletic Training. The smaller campus allows me to meet new friends that normally you would not get a chance to meet in a larger campus setting.
