Emptiness

When I was a young boy of eight
I got awoken by my sister
Daddy's dead she said
In disbelief I went back to dreamland
That is until I heard a strange voice
That's when I went to see

When I saw who was there I saw mother crying
I couldn't believe it, My daddy dead
I ran up to my room and lay down
Hoping to wake up from the nightmare

Then the funeral everyone dressed in their blues
Me a boy of eight laying his one and only father to rest
Now I sit thinking of what could have been and all I see is

EMPTINESS

School
school got you stressed out
Want to leave it all behind The Call
Then pick up a good book She lies there
Cowering a her feet
thinking to herself I have to leave
saying to her self he's crossed the line
he leaves
she grabs the phone
and makes the call to end her pain
Life Views
Many a year ago
a wise OLE man said to me For Henry
When you're blue look up When I hit rock bottom
and you will see blue can be beautiful You anchored me to the top
when life has got you down
stand up and say When i was lost in the unknown
You guided me home
"I refuse to stay stuck
I'll do what i have to When i didn't want to go on
I'll do what i can" You came and carried me on
When your time is up and you have done this You are my brother by choice
then and only then did you live And not blood
cause everyman leaves here but not all
leave their mark You're my friend
Trough it all
For this i love you
And thank you
LIFE IS GOOD
Some say life has got them down
But i say try to bring me down GO TO HELL
My dreams are coming true You tell me you love me
I have friends who aid my success You tell me you care
I used to not care Tomorrow night you'll go home with someone else
I do now thanks to my friends Hearing this tears me up inside
So sorry if you are down It seems you don't care
to me life is good There's just one thing I have to say
you can just GO TO HELL
