Been waiting

Waiting for so many, many years

Searching for the person of like mind

Waiting

Sending Love across the skys

to an unknown face

stars and clouds can not keep it bound

Waiting for it to come back to you

Tasting much of what is thought to never be yours

So many people

and fake relationships

So much pain

and tears

given from the wrong ones

Yet still waiting

Waiting for love

Sending your heart across the sky

Wishing on Stars

Til one day

You find in a unexpected place

in an unexpected heart

that unknown face takes shape

glowing from inside, you see

the Love you sent across the sky

the love that was meant to be

Fear took no root

You choose Love

and plunged forward

Now you have a new beginning

With someone by your side

and realize

Damned by your Perception

you damn me to burn in hell

        a hell that does not exist

you heaven is in the sky

where only “saints” and “good” “Christians” may go

I say heaven is all around us

        you just have to open your eyes

                and grasp it

                        for it is hidden

                                in every day “hell”

trying to see the heaven

        that has to be here somewhere

this hell is one you created

        to make me as miserable as you can
