UW-WC PLANNING ARTISTS WHO TEACH DISPLAY

Area art teachers invited to submit original artwork

The original artwork of area art teachers will be the focus of an upcoming display at UW-Washington County (UW-WC). The ARTISTS WHO TEACH display will be showcased
February 1 through February 16, 2007 and featured at the FINE ARTS FESTIVAL, planned for Sunday, February 11.  Area art teachers (grades K-college level) are invited to submit one or two pieces of their own original artwork (in any media) for the display.

Interested art teachers should contact Sue Survis, Director of University Relations at 262-335-5233 or email: susan.survis@uwc.edu to participate and receive a complete information packet.  Drop off dates are planned for January 18, 19 or 22, with pickup scheduled for February 26 to March 2.

In addition to the teacher artwork, student artwork from 32 area middle and high schools will also be on display during the Fine Arts Festival, which features free admission. For festival highlights and updates, visit the campus website at: http://washington.uwc.edu.
