European Art
Exhibit at UW-Washington County
West Bend: A traveling art exhibit
featuring the work of six European artists is now on display at
UW-Washington County. The exhibit includes the work of Bernardo
Tejeda, Spain; Peter Kramer, Denmark; Rikard Silwarn, Sweden; Nils
Viga Hausken, Norway; Luis Moscard, Spain and Lennart Larsen,
Denmark. The mixed media artwork will be on display for three weeks
through November 18. The display is located in the Fine Arts gallery
and showcases, located on the second floor of the campus, next to
the theatre. There is no admission charge. Hours are: Monday and
Wednesday, 11am to 9pm, Tuesday and Thursday, 11am to 4pm and
Friday, 11am to 3pm. The gallery will also be open during the
performances of the campus’ fall play, Fuddy Meers on November 3, 4
and 10, 11.
Additional gallery displays are being
planned for the near future including an “Artists who Teach” display
featuring the artwork of area art teachers. UW-Washington County is
located at 400 University Drive in West Bend (just off Hwy. 33
West).
