About Campus
Campus eAlert System
The eAlert emergency notification system is coming soon to UW-Washington County! Emails and text messages will be sent to all students, faculty and staff in the case of an emergency on campus or the cancellation of classes due to inclement weather.
eAlert email messages will automatically be sent to all campus email addresses. In addition, text messages will be sent to all faculty, staff and student cell phone numbers in PRISM. The eAlert text service is free, but you will be responsible for normal short messaging service (SMS) charges from your cellular provider.
If you want to receive eAlerts via text message, please check your personal information in PRISM and make sure your correct cell phone is entered and that it is indicated as a cellular phone.
We expect to begin a test of the new system by January 18.
