This day trip to Milwaukee will
consist of two hours at either the Art Museum or the Harley Davidson
Museum (your choice, both being offered), lunch at Maders and then a
guided boat tour of Milwaukee River, Harbor and Lake Michigan aboard
the Iroquois.

Seattle - August
27-31, 2009
In partnership with UW-Sheboygan we
are offering the opportunity to travel to Seattle. This beautiful
city, on the shores of Puget Sound, offers the visitor the chance to
take in breathtaking views and beautiful scenery, as well as a wide
variety of interesting places to visit and explore. The trip will
begin with a four hour guided tour of the city and surrounding area
on a motorcoach. Participants will be given a two day bus pass for
the double decker sight seeing bus, to be used at leisure. We will
visit the observation deck of the Space Needle, take a walking/food
tasting tour of Pike's Place Market and visit Blake Island, to have
lunch cooked using traditional Northwestern Coast Indian styles.
After lunch we will be entertained by dancers and have some free
time to explore.
On addition to the activities already
listed participants can choose to add an extra trip ( at additional
cost) to either Victoria, Canada with a visit to the spectacular
Butchart Gardens (passport needed). Mt Ranier or an afternoon tour
of the Boeing Aviation Center.
The tour package includes:
transportation to and from the airports, return flights from
Milwaukee to Seattle, guided tour, bus pass, entrance to the Space
Needle, Pike's Place Market tour, lunch excursion to Blake Island.
four night's accommodation in the Ramada Hotel and two breakfasts.

Join the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan
and travel to Mexico City and Cuernavaca, immerse yourself in the
history and culture of our neighbor to the South. Assistant
Professor of Art/Art History, Sam Watson, will lead this nine day
tour through the historic sites, pyramids, museums and culture of
beautiful Mexico.
Trip highlights: See the ancient Mexican civilizations and visit
impressive monuments at the National Anthropological Museum,
experience the greatest murals by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro
Siqueiros and Jose Clemente Orozco. Visit the National Palace and
the Museum of Modern art and stop at the Frida Kahlo House museum.
Travel to the mysterious ancient cities of Teotihuacan and
Xochimilco and visit the exotic flower gardens and canals. Enjoy the
bustling market place and the Tepoztian Pyramid, Chepultepec Castle
and the Shrine of Guadalupe, plus an evening at the world-famous
Folkloric Ballet.
Trip includes: all ground
transportation, return airfares, hotel accommodation, daily
breakfast, guided tours, all tips and entrance fees, medical
insurance and lectures on Mexican culture and art history.
