Day Travel Opportunities
Chicago Architectural Trip
A day long excursion to the windy city! Trip
includes a walking tour of architectural highlights of Chicago as
well as a tour of a major architectural site, to be announced.

New Glarus - The Cheese and Beer of
Wisconsin Every year thousands of visitors are drawn to
the New Glarus area to enjoy the atmosphere that thrives here and
nowhere else outside Switzerland. Our day starts with a visit to
Roth Kase Cheese Factory in Monroe to tour the factory and learn
about the manufacture of European-style cheese, and to sample and
purchase cheese. Next we will enjoy a guided tour of the New Glarus
area followed by a sumptuous lunch at the New Glarus Hotel,
featuring a cheese fondue appetizer, Swiss entree and Swiss
entertainment. After lunch there is some free time to look around
New Glarus and visit the quaint shops and the New Glarus Bakery that
was featured on the Food Network. Finally we visit the New Glarus
Brewery to tour and sample the beers. Date:
