Transfer to UW-WC
Criteria for Admission:

If you attended another college before applying for admission to the UW Colleges, you must complete the University of Wisconsin System Application for Undergraduate Admission form, submit the $35 application fee as well as official transcripts from all colleges you attended.

If you were previously enrolled at one of the UW Colleges as a degree seeking student, you  need to complete and submit the University of Wisconsin System Application for Undergraduate Admission form (no application fee is  needed.

If you maintained a 'C' average or higher (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) at your previous college(s),  you are likely to be admitted. If you had less than a 2.0 semester or cumulative GPA, you will have to appeal for admission to UW-Washington County, and if your appeal is honored, the UW Colleges academic probation regulations will be used to determine your probation status.

If you were suspended from another institution, you will not be admitted until the period of suspension elapses or you appeal for admission to UW-Washington County. You will receive a denial letter with instructions regarding the appeal process. If your appeal is honored, the UW Colleges academic probation regulations will be used to determine your probation status and you may be asked to meet certain conditions outlined by the committee.

Application Documentation:

A transfer student's application is not complete until official transcripts of all prior college work have been received. In the event of unavailability of transcripts, other materials, such as grade reports, may be submitted. However, admission based on such data is tentative and may be revoked.

Application Fee:

An application fee of $35 is due upon receipt of application unless you have previously enrolled at one of the UW Colleges as a degree-seeking student. Your application is not processed until payment is received.

Transferring Financial Aid:

If you are a transfer student receiving financial aid at another college this academic year, you must add our college code #003897 to your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
