UW-Washington County offers students an opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts and Science (AAS) Degree with a specific Emphasis. An Emphasis is a concentration of coursework in a given discipline, or area of study. Completing your AAS Degree with an area of Emphasis is not a requirement - rather it is an appealing option for you to enhance your overall associate degree.
