BAS – Applied Studies

Bachelor of Applied Studies
in collaboration with UW-Oshkosh

This bachelor’s degree program is a hybrid program, featuring a mix of online courses and evening classes.

Leadership and Organizational Studies Emphasis

This program is geared toward adult learners who work in technical jobs and are ready to move up the career ladder. Designed to complement associate degree programs from Wisconsin Technical Colleges, the Leadership and Organizational Studies program will allow you to:

  • Move into supervisory roles
  • Become a better team leader
  • Practice critical thinking skills
  • Learn conflict management abilities
  • Develop creativity and innovation

The Leadership and Organizational Studies program combines the applied skills of a technical college degree with the global knowledge of a University of Wisconsin bachelor's degree.

Elective and/or Minor courses (block of up to 45 elective credits awarded with technical degree)

Getting started is often the most difficult part. If you've been out of college for several years or the prospect of studying and taking tests seems overwhelming, contact us. Our advisors will help you develop a plan to reach your goals.

Whatever your situation, advisors will work with you on a personalized plan to get you off to the best start. Typically, students will have completed their general education credits (freshman and sophomore courses) before entering this program. However, if you have earned some college credits from one of the University of Wisconsin Colleges (the two-year campuses) or another college, you may qualify to enter this program.
